The Craft'd Bus: A bus converted into a mobile craft studio, offering creative birthday parties for up to 15 children. Craft activities include make a bear, slime, lip balm making and much more.

We also operate The Splatter Bus, a paint-based party experience where children enjoy expressive, messy art activities!

We park up outside customers' houses or venues and all the creative fun (and mess!) takes place on board.

Job description

The Craft'd Bus is growing! As a result, we are looking to hire new party hosts to work across The Craft'd Bus and The Splatter Bus. Due to our vehicle insurance, this role is only open to candidates aged 25+. You must also live within a 30 minute drive of Goudhurst.

Essential Skills

Experience working with children Enjoy arts and crafts and creative play Comfortable with messier, paint-based activities Reliable - our parties are a once-a-year event and letting down a child on their special day is simply not an option. The successful candidate will feel the same as we do. Full and clean driving licence. You do not need a bus/large vehicle licence, but you should be a confident manual driver. Independent - you will be working alone once training is completed DBS checked (we can provide this, but you must have a clear check)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Preparing either the Craft'd Bus or Splatter Bus for the day's parties Driving the bus, safely parking at the party location and setting up Leading and supervising creative activities for groups of up to 15 children Cleaning, resetting and decorating the bus between parties

We will provide:

A comprehensive training programme - you will shadow and assist with each party type at least twice before leading them yourself Training on both the Craft'd Bus and Splatter Bus activities Large vehicle driving and manoeuvring training (standard licence only required) Paediatric first aid training Safeguarding training

Available Positions

We have the opportunity for a 1-day permanent part-time contract, working Sundays. The working day is around 9 hours.

640 per month, plus 5 days of holiday per year. Overtime paid at time and a half for any days longer than 9 hours.
