Responsibilities
Lead, manage and inspire your team to provide outstanding care and support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
Ensure the home is run in line with Ofsted compliance, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
Take overall responsibility for safeguarding, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
Oversee the recruitment, training and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
Manage budgets, resources and daily operations to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
Work closely with Ofsted, local authorities, and other professionals to build strong partnerships and maintain excellent outcomes.
Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
Experience
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Proven experience as a
Registered Manager
or
Deputy Manager
in a children's residential setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, compliance, and safeguarding legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
