provider pioneering the care for looked after children in a residential setting. We are currently looking for a full time Operations Manager/Responsible Individual to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Responsible Individual looking to work with a dynamic organisation in Manchester.

Duties and Responsibilities:



To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for the children's home To act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meet relevant requirements set out in legislation To provide effective leadership and management of the home To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards, and the policies and procedures of the registered provider To oversee the management of placements within the home and to liaise with managers in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people To ensure that the Registered Home Manager provides a high standard of consistent care/ service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards and the policies and procedures

Skills and Experiences:



Substantial experience of managing care planning practice in children's homes; identifying, assessing, planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children Have the business and management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively Must have previous experience as a Responsible Individual or a similar role A minimum of two years' experience in roles requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Hold a Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Pay: Up to 70,000.00 per year
