Registered Manager / Wirral

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the operations of one of our Children's Residential home.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in senior care, ensuring that our young people receive the highest quality of care.This role involves managing staff, developing care plans, and supervising daily activities to promote a safe and nurturing environment for all young people in the home.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the residential facility, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations. Supervise and support staff in their daily responsibilities, fostering a positive team environment. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Liaise with families, other care professionals, and external agencies to coordinate young people care and support services. Ensure that the home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Provide leadership and training to staff members to enhance their skills in senior care practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a management capacity in a Children's Residential environment is essential. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage with residents, families, and staff. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Ability to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the service.
