Being a Registered Manager at Salus Care Wales means you will work very closely with young people that may display potential additional needs and/or challenging behaviour. therefore you will be required to develop excellent relationships which are built and driven by trust. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our young people are supported on a practical basis to ensure that they are prepared for a bright and successful future.

Within your role as a Registered Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of running the home, leading a staff team and ensuring that compliance is met in accordance with Care Inspectorate Wales regulatory requirements.

Duties:



As a Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the following:

Managing a successful staff team and running all day-to-day operations of the home. Ensuring that the staff team receives supervisions and ensuring that they are fully supported and developed within their roles. Ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered in relation to the young people's physical, behavioural and emotional needs. Ensuring effective care planning and risk assessing is conducted on a regular basis. Supporting and encouraging engagement with education/training to ensure that the young people achieve their full potential. Ensuring all compliance is being met.
A QCF Level 5 Health and Social Care in Children and Young People qualification is essential for this role. Successful applicants will have previous management experience of working with children and young people with potential additional needs and/or challenging behaviour.

A QCF Level 5 Health and Social Care in Children and Young People. A full driver's license. Management experience in working with Children and Young People.

Schedule:

8 hour shift 8.30am - 4.30pm OTE

Pay: 33,000.00-38,000.00 per year
