We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate
Deputy Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home that supports children and young people aged 8 to 18 through short-term placements focused on understanding and addressing their needs.

This role offers the chance to lead, develop, and inspire a team while supporting young people's emotional resilience, independence, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in leading the care team to deliver the highest standards of support and safeguarding
Build trusting, nurturing relationships that promote independence, wellbeing, and personal growth among young people
Supervise shifts and oversee day-to-day operational duties
Collaborate with families, social workers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support plans
Maintain accurate records, complete audits, and contribute to the smooth running of the home
Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all young people
Assist with domestic and administrative tasks ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Uphold safeguarding policies, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance (OFSTED standards)
Lead by example, fostering a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services or willingness to work towards
Minimum of 1 year supervisory or shift-leading experience in a children's residential setting
Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and quality standards with a focus on achieving and maintaining "Outstanding" ratings
Experience and expertise in safeguarding, including accurate record-keeping and incident reporting
