We're currently recruiting for a

Deputy Manager

to join a well-established children's residential home in

Ilford

. This is a

newly created role

, introduced as part of a broader investment in leadership capacity across the home, ensuring continued quality care and strong staff support.

The home is a

5-bed service for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)

, supporting young people in the property with plans to increase occupancy in a safe and considered way.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the Registered Manager in daily operations and leadership Promoting a high standard of care through strong team supervision and coaching Helping shape care plans, routines, and activities in line with therapeutic practices Acting as a role model and providing clear, child-focused guidance to staff Ensuring a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for young people
What We're Looking For:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential Residential childcare experience - essential Some leadership or mentoring experience -

preferred

Commitment to safeguarding, team collaboration, and positive behaviour support Full UK driving licence -

preferred
