35,750- 37,000 per annum (incl. 5 contractual sleeps per month) + bonus
Hours:
Average 37.5 hours p/w (163 hours p/m)
Additional sleep-ins and overtime paid in addition

We're looking for a proactive and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our children's home for young people aged 5 to 18. This is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.
The Role:
Safeguarding:
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of our young people.
Leadership:
Support the Registered Manager in leading the team and delivering the home's Statement of Purpose.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards in line with Children's Home Regulations, Ofsted, and local authority audits.
Team Development:
Supervise and support Senior Practitioners, Care Practitioners, and Assistant Care Practitioners.
Operational Management:
Assist with rota scheduling, budget management, and participate in the on-call system.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build effective relationships with external professionals and partners.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Requirements:
Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards.
Experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
Understanding of working with children with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours.
Strong organisational and management skills.
Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points (company cars provided).
