Key Responsibilities
Support children with daily routines, life skills, and personal growth
Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
Build trusting, supportive relationships that make children feel valued and heard
Offer encouragement, structure, and emotional support
Work closely with families, colleagues, and professionals to create consistent care
Drive children to appointments or activities (if required)
Keep accurate records and use basic IT skills for communication and reporting
Take part in regular training and gain fully funded Ofsted-recognised qualifications
What We're Looking For
Previous residential childcare experience (must-have)
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive
Strong understanding of structured care plans
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal
Confidence using IT for documentation and communication
A valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)
Above all--a compassionate, patient, and supportive nature
