Complete Care Plus Ltd are expanding and opening a new home in Bridgend, providing a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team dedicated to supporting children and young people in a Residential Care.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Residential Care Worker, you will listen to the individual child/young person to find out how they want to live their lives, what they want to achieve, what works well for them and what doesn't. Your approach will be tailored to the individual child/young person, and you will encourage, motivate and support them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Supporting in all aspects of daily life to be able to integrate into the community
Attend to their physical and emotional needs( there is no personal care required for the role)
Involve them in all the decisions and choices that affect them
Help them retain the highest level of independence as possible
Supporting them to attend college, go to the gym, attend clubs, go shopping, go to a football match... etc.

Requirements
Experience:
Desirable but not essential. Full training is provided including support to complete QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People.
Age restriction:
Due to regulations you need to be 21 or over.
Registration:
Complete SCW Induction and register with Social Care Wales within six months.
Attributes:
Desire to make a difference, patience, understanding, and being an excellent role model.
Additional:
A hobby or interest to share can be an advantage.
Driving Licence:
Manual is essential.
