Residential Support Worker Children's Homes

Location: Cyncoed, Cardiff area

Salary: Starting from 25,552 PLUS additional 3k - 6 per annum for sleep ins (based on 4 - 8 per month.

Shift patterns -

Full time working 2 long day shifts plus sleeps then 4 days off

Full UK driving licence is required for this role.

What do you need?

You must be eligible for registration with Social Care Wales.

Previous experience of working with young people and children or transferable skills such as education, sports, armed forces, police.

We want people who are naturally caring, energetic and enjoy the outdoors. Great communication skills, positive and fun. Full UK Driving licence is required Ability to remain calm and to show resilience Ability to relate to our young people and share interests and encourage hobbies. You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins .

:

Be part of a family team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager. Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child. Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, Enjoy the outdoors and having shared interests such as fashion and art.
