As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and care to individuals, particularly children, who require support in their daily lives. Your responsibilities will include implementing care plans, fostering independence, and ensuring the wellbeing of those you support. Responsibilities



Assist children with daily activities, promoting independence and self-care skills. Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and their families. Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and other professionals involved in the child's care. Document progress and any changes in behaviour or health as required. Drive to various locations as needed for home visits or activities. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children under your care.

Skills



Experience with children is essential; previous childcare experience is highly desirable. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence to facilitate transportation needs. Familiarity with creating and following care plans to meet individual needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes. This role requires a dedicated individual who is ready to contribute positively to the lives of those they support while working collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,420.00-33,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
