We are looking for CWPs to join our first Towards Hub in Leeds. You will provide evidence-based interventions to people with common mental health problems (aged 12 upwards).

These are full time roles but we would consider job sharing (a minimum of 20 hours a week).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES



The post-holder will work as part of the Towards Clinical Team to support the safe and effective delivery of clinical services to clients. Working closely with the Hub's Lead Therapist the postholder will:

Deliver evidence based one-to-one assessments and interventions face-to-face or online via the Towards Platform. Utilise evidence-based literature and research to support evidence-based practice in all facets of clinical work. Deliver evidence-based group interventions. Act as a role model and mentor to trainees undertaking their clinical placement with the Towards Academy. Work as part of a team to manage clinical performance and outcomes specifically in relation to matching, engagement, client satisfaction and treatment outcomes. Undertake risk assessment and risk management processes and to provide advice to other professionals, both internal and external, on aspects of risk assessment and risk management. Attend and fully engage with weekly clinical supervision Maintain and develop the highest standards of practice, through active participation in continuing professional development and maintaining an active engagement with current developments in psychological practice in areas related to the post. Communicate skilfully, tactfully and sensitively highly complex and sensitive information with key internal and external agencies. Use information management and technology effectively in accordance with the relevant Towards guidelines. Maintain accurate records and data collection. To abide by the BABCP Code of Conduct and other relevant professional body guidelines. To work to a set of objectives based upon a personal appraisal agreed with the Lead Therapist To fully understand and adhere to Towards policies and procedures To work in a flexible and responsive way to meet the changing needs of the service. To promote equality, diversity and the rights of the client To follow safeguarding procedures to minimise risk of harm to children or vulnerable adults. To contribute to the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment Able to travel to and from various locations when required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY TO DAY



Working with clients, one-to-one and in group settings. Undertake relevant administration. Support, guide and advise clients who make enquiries in the Hub. Attend clinical supervision, team meetings, case management etc.

REPORTING



You will report directly to the Lead Therapist

Pay: 32,967.00-40,131.00 per year
