Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of fried dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station and surrounding areas. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to perfection. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the highest quality of food preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help maintain inventory levels of frying supplies and report any shortages to management.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in food preparation or cooking roles. Strong understanding of culinary techniques, especially related to frying methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
