Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting gifts and merchandise, providing exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answering queries and offering product recommendations. Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy periods. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and collaboration. Uphold phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or other communication channels.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential. Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately. Excellent organisational skills will help maintain order in the workspace during peak times. Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
