Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Seasonal Associate to join our team.

Braintree Village Christmas concessions to work on one of our outlets including sweets, cheese, chocolate, hot food yorkie wraps. Common sense, great customer service skills and basic maths are a must!

This role involves providing excellent customer service, supporting merchandising efforts, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will be organised, communicative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly English and Spanish, is highly desirable to assist our multicultural customer base. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain retail experience and develop organisational and communication skills.

Duties

Assist customers with their shopping needs, offering product information and recommendations Support merchandising activities, including stocking shelves and arranging displays Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring proper phone etiquette during customer interactions Upsell products where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-presented Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled shifts Provide friendly and professional assistance in both English and Spanish as needed Support team members during busy periods by sharing workload and maintaining organisational standards

Qualifications

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a distinct advantage Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members Organised with good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries or follow-ups Previous experience in retail or merchandising is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment Demonstrated organisational skills to keep the sales area tidy and stock levels accurate

Pay: 7.55-18.75 per hour
