We have an opportunity for a dynamic, hard?working Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team, to work on a broad range of complex cases including tax and HRMC related cases. Main responsibilities:



Ensure all client queries are addressed promptly, professionally, and in alignment with company policies and client needs Working collaboratively with clients to find the best possible solution Assist our clients in navigating the civil litigation process, ensuring their claims progress efficiently from raising the Claim to enforcement Ensure all legal processes are followed and cases tracked accurately Drafting Court documents for claims within the County Court and High Court regimes Drafting other correspondence between clients and other solicitors Supporting fee-earners on the full range of complex claims Preparing court bundles Attend court hearings when required Organising diaries to monitor case dates and deadlines Manage professionally and confidentially, written and telephone correspondence with clients, other solicitors and third parties Conduct legal research as required

What you'll need

:

Strong knowledge and experience of civil or criminal litigation processes, or a CILEX or Legal qualification with a litigation focus Aptitude for working under time pressure and to tight timescales within a fast paced and dynamic litigation team Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative Skilled negotiator with excellent client care and communication abilities Understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations Exceptional organisational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and IT skills, with attention to detail and a commercial mindset Can take responsibility and ownership of your own work
