Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (37.5 hours)



Salary: 23,000 - 26,000 (dependant on experience)



Overview


As part of our partnership with Openreach, which operates the UK's largest fibre broadband network, we are committed to delivering quarterly target homes passed (THP) in numerous areas. The Planner plays a vital role in this process by allocating, scheduling, and issuing jobs to suppliers. This position involves closely monitoring the progress of works to ensure they are completed within agreed timescales, enabling the wider team to effectively plan and deliver on project targets. The Planner is essential in helping MJQ contribute to expanding broadband access to thousands of homes each year.

Responsibilities



As a Planner, you will be responsible for planning and issuing jobs to field teams, organising their delivery schedules, and ensuring that FTTP progress as expected and are completed on time. Answering queries from the client Handling client requests across all aspects of the project and escalating issues to the Desk Delivery Manager when required Coordinating and scheduling FTTP tasks within the existing BT network

Experience and skills



Have strong planning, organisational, and monitoring skills. Possess strong administrative abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Be capable of organising workloads and prioritising tasks effectively Be computer literate Have the ability to prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage business expectations Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
