We are now looking for a Claims Handler to join us during an exciting period of growth. You'll play a crucial role within our Credit Hire Division. The main purpose of the claims team is to investigate liability, confirm the need to progress a claim to the fulfilment team, and ensure the recovery of our credit hire charges.

What will you be doing?

Each day, you'll work closely with our FNOL (First Notification of Loss) and recoveries departments, assessing evidence and investigating fault and non-fault accidents. Your goal will be to determine whether we can support a client with a hire vehicle. You'll need to enjoy building relationships with our end customers, even navigating more complex conversations when the customer is at fault.





This is a fast-paced role, and we're seeking applicants who are competitive and up for a challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively process accident claims efficiently. Provide support across all areas of the Credit Hire Operations Department. Update and maintain a bespoke case management system with detailed progress reports. Liaise with insurers and engineers to address liability queries. Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving. Adhere to strict service level agreements and timelines.

What are we looking for?

Strong empathy and communication skills. Self-motivated, persuasive, and confident, with excellent time management and an understanding of urgency when necessary. An affinity for the vehicle-for-hire business is desirable. A demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems.
