Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 General + Bulk Haulage driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Class 1 driving, with a minimum of one year driving experience in this position. This role involves transporting bulk goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of bulk goods and flatbed loads. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and other road users. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.

Experience

A valid Class 1 driving licence is essential. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable. Proven track record of safe driving practices and adherence to road safety regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. GENERAL HAULAGE

Minimum 1 years class 1 driving experience required Upto 4 nights out per week Moffett licence preferred but not essential - training can be given Weekly salary - minimum of 750 per week but this is based on a percentage of lorry earnings so is really uncapped
BULK HAULAGE

Minimum 1 years class 1 tipping experience required Nights out preferred but not essential Weekly salary - minimum of 750 per week but this is based on a percentage of lorry earnings so is really uncapped
