Job Description
Due to the recent restructuring with the company, we are looking to recruit an experienced
HGV Class 1 Driver
to join our transport team.As an experienced driver we are looking for someone who:
Holds ALL correct licenses Holds a Valid CPC Card Has excellent customer service skills Understands the importance of Health & Safety within an Organisation Has an understanding of vehicle safety, upkeep and drivers hours Has a Flexible, Can Do attitude
In return, you will receive:
Full Training Competitive Salary of 37,000 per annum (15.00 p/h) 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays Auto Enrolment Pension
The hours of this role commence at 6am with overtime available.
The Responsibilities of this role include:
Loading and Unloading Powered Access & Plant equipment Correct procedures for loading, transporting and delivering machines Professional & courteous customer liaison Accurate checking & recording of vehicle and ancillary equipment logs Compliance with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachograph operation and working time regulations Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standards of customer care at all times Accurate record keeping
Preferred but not necessary as full training will be given is:
To hold a Valid IPAF 3a, 3b & 1b Card Experience of delivering Powered Access equipment
