Job Description
Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV driver for majority container work and some curtain work as well as overnights as and when required.
Ideal candidate will have have a passion for haulage and would enjoy working for a small family run business company where they take pride in there lorry and there work.
We offer increased rate after 48 hours.
Responsibilities
-Good time keeping
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in a safe manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all relevant road safety regulation
Qualifications
- Hold a valid class 1 driving licence
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
