Van Technician - Diamond Trucks

Diamond Trucks is an innovative, fast-paced and family-oriented company, where we push boundaries to remain the best at what we do, selling and servicing Renault Trucks and Vans. As demand for our services continues to grow in Northern Ireland, we are expanding our team and are now looking for a reliable and professional HGV Driver to support our operations.

In this role, you will play a vital part in the smooth running of our workshop and customer service functions by assisting with the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, presenting vehicles for MOT, and carrying out parts deliveries as required. This position is ideally full-time at 40 hours per week plus overtime, however we are open to considering a 4-day week (Tuesday to Friday) for the right candidate. Overtime is paid, and flexibility is essential.

What we are looking for:

A valid HGV licence (Class 1 ). Previous experience working in a commercial vehicle, transport, or logistics environment is desirable. A professional and customer-focused attitude when collecting and delivering vehicles. Ability to safely move, operate, and manoeuvre a variety of commercial vehicles. Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including overtime when required. A good understanding of transport legislation and safe working practices. Willingness to assist within the wider team as needed, including occasional workshop or yard duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and deliver customer vehicles in a safe, professional and timely manner. Present vehicles for MOT, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met. Carry out parts deliveries as required to support workshop efficiency. Conduct basic vehicle checks prior to movement, reporting any defects. Represent Diamond Trucks with professionalism when dealing with customers and external partners.
