Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing team. If you are self-motivated and committed to high standards of service, we are keen to hear from you.

The role

driving our Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner

tramping out 4 nights per week (Mon-Thu), travelling across our territory as required

collecting and distributing waste and waste products across our areas of operation liaising and communicating effectively with customers, members of the public and our team at J. Dickinson's completing and recording pre-use and after-use checks on the vehicle representing the company in an appropriate and professional manner at all times

What you need

valid Class 1 category driving licence proven working experience as an HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations previous experience working as a HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this understanding of transport compliance and the Working Time Directive good written and verbal communication skills able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative

Competitive daily rate, plus 35.00 meal and nights out allowance
