Job Description
B & T Hicks Transport are proud to announce that two major new contracts have been obtained therefore we urgently require Class 1 HGV Tramper Drivers for work commencement starting January 2026. Starts subject to successful completion of onsite interview and assessment.
Role:
The driver must be fully compliant and have extensive experience delivering to industrial, commercial, and retail customers throughout the UK. Deliveries are carried out with a variety of single drop and multi drop routes dependent on the day to day planning schedules. Multi drop very rarely exceeds 7 drops per day. Driver must have no more than six penalty points on their licence.
Shifts:
We operate flexible start times subject to your allocated route for the next day on a Monday - Friday basis with the requirement to run in on a Saturday. Driver should be prepared for average 4 -5 nights out per week
Rates of Pay:
43k - 48k per year
Bonus pay scheme can be discussed at interview.
Driver expectation:
You will be responsible for the accurate, safe, and timely movement of our customers' products to their delivery destination, in line with all relevant health and safety compliance. Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
