Driver to join our dynamic team at Optimum European. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods across the UK, ensuring compliance with road and transport legislation while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Safely operate and drive assigned trucks to deliver goods to various locations.
Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all road safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Requirements
Valid commercial driving license (HGV or equivalent) is essential.
Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
