Job Title: Class 2 Driver




We have an opening for a

Class 2 Driver

to join our

Exeter Hub,

supporting on deliveries out to our customers & branches.





This role will involve you driving a mix off the Van & 18t vehicles to facilitate the deliveries out, where you will be off-loading, taking any customer queries and ensuring all proof of delivery is completed.





The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30, contracted to 40 hours a week, offering great work life balance, enhanced with all of our other benefits.



There may be a requirement to work a Nightshift when covering periods of holiday - an uplift to pay will be applicable for this.

Responsibilities:

Delivering excellent customer service through representing the Rexel brand by demonstrating a positive, friendly and professional image to our customers Transporting customer orders to required addresses, timely and professionally Loading and unloading vehicles safely and effectively, taking account of product size, weight and delivery routing Contacting customers to provide updates on deliveries, confirming times and any additional requirements Ensuring legal compliance is attained in relation to the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicles Supporting in other areas of the branch operation as and when required

What you will need:

In-date Valid UK Class 2 Licence, Digi Tacho Card & CPC. A minimum of 12 months experience Good communication skills via Face to Face and Phone interactions * Due to insurance purposes, all drivers in Rexel must be over 21 and hold no more than 3 points on their license
