Job Description
Grange Quarry Ltd, a family run business is now actively looking to recruit a full-time Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver. The successful candidate will be based at our Lockerbie Plant. In your role as a Concrete Mixer, you will be required to safely deliver concrete whilst representing the Company with a professional approach. The post can be very demanding in a fast-paced environment.
ACTIVITIES
Knowledge of IT (tablet/phones) Ensuring good communication with the Concrete Batcher, Transport Manger and Customers. Working in a team Complete daily checks and relevant paperwork to a high standard. Feedback to Concrete Batcher, Transport Manager when necessary. Sound knowledge of Tachograph rules.
We Need Your Skills
Good Level of Mechanical aptitude Customer communication skills Knowledge of local area Good organisational skills Looks to solve problems and find solutions. Preferably a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
Weekly hours of work:
Monday - Friday 7.00am - 5.30pm which will vary as production demands. You will also be required to work every 3rd Saturday 7.00am - 12.30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 38,116.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekend availability
