We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating lorries for the transportation of goods. This role requires a blend of commercial driving expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to navigate various terrains. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Load and unload cargo in a safe manner. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on vehicles as needed. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety and operational standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Concrete Mixer Driver is essential, with a valid Class 2 HGV licence. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
