Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer HGV 2 Driver to join our busy team in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mixed concrete to customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries are made whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a concrete mixer HGV safely and efficiently Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customers within designated areas Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of concrete in line with customer requirements Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly Carry out daily vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift We are looking for strong candidate with good customer engagement/ relationship skills Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to concrete delivery and vehicle operation is preferred

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license with a clean driving record. Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and digital tachograph card. Minimum of 2 years' experience operating volumetric concrete mixers preferred CSCS/NRSWA - preferable

Schedule and Benefits

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Overtime available when all working hours are completed Holiday's 28 days per year including Bank Holiday's (3 days to be held for Christmas shut down this year) Onsite parking Company pension
