Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, particularly with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
