Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various school rooms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a safe, tidy environment for staff and children.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to high standards. Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring recycling protocols are followed. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or shortages. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination. Ensure all areas are kept organised, secure, and presentable at all times. Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including window washing or deep cleans.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous. Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained consistently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-15.66 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: In person
