As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning standards are consistently met, lead by example, and ensure your team is well-trained, motivated, and delivering quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
:
Hands-On Cleaning
: Actively participate in day-to-day cleaning tasks, setting the standard for quality and efficiency.
Team Leadership
: Supervise and support a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance and direction throughout each shift.
Training & Development
: Deliver on-the-job training to your team, ensuring they understand cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and client expectations.
Quality Control
: Regularly inspect work completed by your team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are achieved. Take corrective action when necessary.
Health & Safety
: Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times, particularly in handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Escalating Issues
: Identify and escalate any concerns or complaints to the management team promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Skills & Experience
:
Previous experience
in a
supervisory role
within a cleaning or facilities management environment is
a must
.
Strong
leadership
and
team management
skills, with a practical approach to training and motivating staff.
In-depth knowledge of cleaning
procedures
,
quality standards
, and
health & safety
practices.
Ability to
lead by example
, with a hands-on approach to cleaning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of

Qualifications
:
A relevant
cleaning
or
facilities management qualification
(e.g., COSHH, Health and Safety) would be beneficial.
Experience in
staff training

, and hands-on cleaning is required.
