Contract:
Full-time, 40 hours per weekShifts:
Rotating 2-week patternWeek 1: 6:00am - 12:30pm Week 2: 11:00am - 5:30pm
The remaining 10 contracted hours will be to provide cover and supervise cleaning staff on other shifts
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Cleaning Supervisor
to join our team in a warm, caring children's hospice environment. This is a vital role ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for children, families, and staff.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of cleaners across the hospice site. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. Organise rotas, allocate tasks, and provide training and support to cleaning staff. Carry out regular inspections and audits. Provide cover for cleaning duties when required. Liaise with other departments to ensure cleaning needs are met efficiently.
Requirements:
Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities role is essential. A strong understanding of infection control and hygiene standards. Ability to work flexibly across a 7-day rota. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - due to site access requirements. Compassionate, reliable, and able to work in a sensitive environment.
