A position has arisen for a Clerical Assistant in our Stornoway office. Duties will include the following:-
Sales invoicing
Purchase invoices
Subcontractor invoices
Timesheets
Answering phones
Balancing VAT
Reconciliations
Scanning
Filing
Personnel paperwork
Raising purchase orders
Raising new jobs
Job journals
Any other administration duties as required
Essential skills for the role:
Must be capable of producing accurate work whilst multi-tasking.
Computer literate with experience in accounting packages, and also have a good understanding of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
Hold a HND in business administration or accounts.
Knowledge and understanding in accountancy will be an advantage.
Good telephone manner essential.
