Client Accountant - Part Time (24 hours a week but spread across 5 days)

We are looking for an individual to join our growing entrepreneurial firm on a part-time basis as our new client accountant. Working closely with the founder you will be exposed to all aspects of the business from weekly bookkeeping through to client business partnering. This is a fully remote role (though you are welcome to work in the office if you prefer!). You will have the ability to adjust your hours around your own schedule so you can do the school run, attend your exercise class, go to the shops. The choice is yours. The only requirement is that you are able to do at least 3 hours every day Mon-Fri with some days having more than others to hit the full 24 hours for the week.

Key responsibilities

Delivering valuable financial insights to your clients Understanding client goals and objectives Keeping your clients compliant - Preparation of annual accounts and CT 600s, personal tax returns, weekly bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns. Keeping your clients informed - Preparation of monthly / quarterly management reports
About you

AAT Level 4 / ACCA / ACA 3 years minimum experience working in an Accountancy Practice Expert using Xero Comfortable completing compliance work Familiar with using HMRC agent accounts and authorisations Enjoy understanding client challenges Capable of managing your own workload and operating without supervision Happy to use video conferencing and other remote communication tools such as Slack Ideally experience working with creative agencies and studios

Salary: 38k-45k pro rata, dependent on experience.
