We are looking for someone highly motivated and experienced to join the Client Care team at Bridge Referrals, an established, multi-disciplinary veterinary centre. . As part of Team Bridge, you'll be contributing to our continued growth and success, making Bridge Referrals the best in the area for both our patients and staff.
As the first point of contact for our clients and referring vets, the role of a client care administrator requires you to have excellent communication and customer service skills, a welcoming friendly manner and a love of pets and people.
The ideal candidate should work well in a team, and thrive in the varied environment of a veterinary centre. You should have a positive attitude, be used to working under pressure effectively with a high attention to detail, and in a fast-paced setting. We are looking for someone to make an important contribution to the effective delivery of administrative and customer care services here at Bridge Referrals.
This full-time role is based on a 40-hour week, this will consist of two weekday shifts and every Saturday and Sunday. Previous reception experience, especially within a veterinary environment is preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities
Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner.
Answer and make calls to veterinary practices, insurance companies and clients.
Have a high level of attention to detail to make sure paperwork is completed and correct to support the team and wider business.
Bereavement handling - offer emotional assistance to clients in sensitive situations.
Show awareness of financial control within the practice and follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
Keep waiting areas, consulting rooms, and offices, stocked and clean.
Be courteous & polite when dealing with clients and colleagues.
Work closely with clinicians, the nursing teams and management to maximise the efficiency of the hospital.Skills, Knowledge & Experience
A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
Adapt well to learning a new system if no previous experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Highly motivated to provide excellent service to clients and the hospital.
Ability to work at a fast pace under pressure.
Competent IT skills
