Reporting to the Head of Client Implementations and Change, the Client Implementations Manager will support the successful onboarding of clients onto the WBS Dealing and Custody platform. The role will also focus on the delivery of new business initiatives across the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering, testing, release to production and closure.
Emphasis on maintaining high project management governance and approach to delivery for all business change initiatives for WBS is key for this role. The role will support the Head of Client Implementations and Change in developing and evolving the controls and project management governance framework for WBS, working alongside internal and external auditors to deliver a strong controls framework for the Implementations team.
Ownership and oversight of the delivery of key business projects is central to the role, working with various stakeholders across the firm. The role engages with the entire WBS business including the technology area, WBS clients and internal external auditors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ownership of project and change management initiatives ensuring they are delivered within the WBS Project Management Framework
Support the Head of Client Implementations and Change in managing client onbaording requests ensuring proactive engagement with clients and stakeholders over the full lifecycle of the implementation from initiation to production (or close)
Ensure each client implementation is managed in a controlled environment by ensuring due process is followed and requirements, data, migration and all related business/operational changes are formally signed off
Ensure a smooth handover of each implementation to all clients and internal stakeholders with appropriate communication and support
Work in close partnership with the technology development and client testing teams to ensure complex requirements are designed and built in line with business expectations, in a constantly iterative development environment
Project manage and provide client change management support to the WBS business
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about project progress
Ensure that the agreed control perimeters as defined by WBS management are covered and delivered through the scope of any project, change or business initiative
Provide support in gathering and evaluating business requirements for any project and client change management initiative for the WBS business
Ensure effective stakeholder and client management through driving client centric culture and positive client outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve the WBS controls framework by understanding the business needs and regulatory requirements.
Identify Business Process Reengineering opportunities, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes whilst maintaining a robust controls framework
To build and maintain a strong culture of compliance, risk management, integrity, client focus and other such Winterflood or Close Brothers values
Build strong stakeholder relationships across WBS & WINS as a whole. Key to this is the relationship with the technology function
To continually review the way the Implementations and Client Change function operates and challenge the robustness of procedures as it evolves, prioritising and facilitating required enhancements accordingly

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
3-4 years project management experience in the financial services
Good organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Excellent communication skills, communicating well to internal and external clients
The ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Great attention to detail
PMP/ Prince II certification is desired
