Job Description

The role is to provide exceptional pre and post sales client services and internal support to the Green Business team in delivering the Green Tourism programme, associated products, and services. The tasks and responsibilities include providing proactive and reactive sales and membership services to clients to ensure efficient and profitable running of the business.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively especially by phone and in writing. You will ensure all tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Excellent customer service skills are essential, experience in the hospitality industry is preferable as is a passion and awareness of sustainability and/or a commitment to invest to grow this with our support. It is important you have the ability and focus to be able to work remotely as well as in an office setting.

Skills / Experience



Excellent customer services skills and experience. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Brings positive energy to those around them and can convey this in person over the phone. Sales experience Proactive and willing to take the initiative. Awareness / interest / knowledge of sustainability issues (preferable) Ability to manage own time productively in a remote / home working situation. Knowledge and experience of using a CRM (Hubspot preferable) Experience using Office 365. Experience in the hospitality industry (preferable)

Core tasks - Roles and responsibilities



Client Support and Development



Promote Green Business products and Green Tourism programme benefits and services to prospective clients. Respond promptly to enquiries from prospective clients, by telephone or email and follow-up within an agreed time frame Identify Group Leads from enquiries and pass to Business Development Executive & Customer Services Director Maintain and monitor chase system for all incoming enquiries Proactively target larger enquiries for demonstrations and additional sales support
Work to monthly and annual engagement targets to achieve company annual membership, financial and retention targets

Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and increase client renewal and retention processes as follows: Email with various retention offers and follow up within an agreed timeframe Liaison with Finance & Customer Services Director with the outcome of communications Maintain, manage and update all related information on the CRM Identify and pass on any larger accounts to Customer Services Director for retention process Assist in delivering Members Webinar Series Assist in delivering Proactive Sales Webinars across various platforms Assist with research on eligible businesses for proactive targeted sales Any other tasks as required by Customer Services Director Supply Data Share information to range of partners and OTAs Research potential members to assist Business Development Executive

Client Queries



Manage and reply to queries from potential and existing Green Tourism members and other clients. Gain sufficient knowledge of all sections of the business to pass members and clients queries to the correct department.

Social Media & Marketing



Identify potential Green Stories or interesting social media posts to pass on to Campaign Manager

General Office Tasks



Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries (shared with other members of the team) Any other task as required by Management

Hours of Work:

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Days in Office:

Thursday each week plus one other day Flexible.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
