Receptionist

to join our team and help us deliver an outstanding patient experience.

About the Role

You'll be the first face and voice our patients see and hear, so your role is key to making them feel at ease from the moment they arrive. You'll also support the clinic's day-to-day running through a variety of admin tasks.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll need to be both professional and personable, confident with IT, and comfortable multitasking in a busy yet calm environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly, professional manner Answer and direct phone calls using excellent phone etiquette Manage appointment bookings via our online diary system Respond to emails and handle incoming/outgoing mail Take payments and maintain accurate client records Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently Maintain both physical and digital filing systems in an organised way Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) confidently for admin tasks Support the chiropractor with general day-to-day admin and operations Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and welcoming Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and reminders

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a receptionist or admin role (clinic or healthcare setting preferred but not essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident using

Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook) and other digital systems Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure Accurate typing and good attention to detail Able to work independently and take initiative as well as be part of a team A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
