This post may be suitable for those wishing to prepare for entry into specialist training at either CT1-2 or ST3 level, or looking to gain equivalent experience. Previous post holders have successfully entered national training programmes in the UK as well as being successfully matched in the US/Canadian system. There are a wide range of educational opportunities available including time to attend monthly half day departmental academic meetings, the opportunity to be trained in outpatient and inpatient procedures and to participate in audits and clinical research with the goal of submitting papers for publication.
