This is an exciting opportunity to support the establishment and development of a new, evidence and value-based model of care to meet the needs of children and young people with persistent pain and their families. The post is suitable for doctors at any stage of their training post completion of the Foundation Programme. The role is unbanded 5 sessions (18.75hr) and is open to doctors in paediatrics, primary and adult hospital care and mental health services with suitable support where there are training needs and provided there is registration to work in the UK.
We are a teaching health board with close links to Cardiff University. The University boasts a high-profile teaching, research and development role within the UK and abroad. Together we are training the next generation of medical professionals. Whilst the posts on offer are not recognised for training, we do offer candidates excellent equal educational opportunities to Deanery trainees, including study leave and rotas.
