What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a secondment or development role to enhance their leadership portfolio. You'll play a central part in delivering our existing governance action plan and driving forward our ambition to maintain Outstanding CQC standards (last achieved in 2021). You'll also help ensure the highest standards of care and continuous improvement remain at the heart of our services.

We're looking for a confident and improvement-minded leader -- someone who is passionate about getting things right for patients and families, striving for excellence, understanding patient safety and quality improvement and collaborative working. Ideally, you'll bring some experience in clinical governance or quality roles, but we'll provide support and guidance throughout to help you thrive in this role.

We're an ambitious organisation with a strong culture of improvement, learning, and excellence -- and we're looking for someone who shares our values and energy.

Come and bring your leadership to a team that's already delivering excellence and help shape what comes next. Check out our quality account for a taste of patient services at Prospect Hospice PH_31367-Quality-Account-2024-25.pdf

This could be a developmental post for the right person with adjustments to responsibilities, greater level of support and leadership oversight from the Director of Patient Services.

Please talk to our Jane Green Community Matron (07544 391506) or Naomi McKenna Quality Lead (07533 050677) for more information. Informal site visits are welcome.

The Director of Patient Services is on annual leave until 12 August 2025. Email carolynbell@prospect-hospice.net if you'd like an informal discussion.
