Clinical Lead
to join our growing community-based care team. This pivotal role provides clinical leadership, quality assurance, and support across a range of complex care packages--ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care. This position is for someone who has a nursing background.
Experience supporting individuals with
spinal cord injuries
or
complex neurological conditions

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (Adult) with current
NMC registration
(essential)* Leadership or management training/qualification (desirable)* Certifications in spinal injuries, neurology, or rehabilitation (desirable)*
Provide expert clinical leadership across complex care packages (e.g. spinal injury, neurological conditions)
Develop and review clinical protocols, care plans, risk assessments, and documentation standards
Ensure compliance with CIW, NMC, and other regulatory frameworks
Support clinical audits, safeguarding, incident management, and investigation processes
Participate in the shared on-call rota
Team Development & Support
Mentor, supervise, and support care teams and field-based staff
Lead training needs analysis and facilitate ongoing professional development
Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, and clinical excellence
Service Development & Strategy
Contribute to service expansion, innovation, and business planning
Identify areas for clinical enhancement and drive continuous quality improvement
Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to align care quality with business goals
Client & Family Engagement
Champion tailored, goal-driven care that supports independence and rehabilitation
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external health professionals
Take part in multidisciplinary reviews and discharge planning
Education, Training & Clinical Development
Lead or support in-house training for clinical and non-clinical staff
Stay current with evidence-based practice and emerging guidance
Promote a learning environment through reflection sessions and shared best practice
Experience:
Significant post-registration experience in community, complex care, or neuro-rehabilitation
Proven leadership or clinical supervisory experience
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
Exposure to spinal cord injury or long-term condition management (beneficial)*
Skills & Attributes:
Strong clinical governance and safeguarding knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills
Ability to manage complex caseloads and adapt to changing priorities
Passionate about person-centred care and continuous improvement

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year
