Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Lead Nurse will play a pivotal role in overseeing resident care, ensuring high standards of nursing practice, and leading a team of nursing staff. This position requires a strong background in patient care and comprehensive knowledge of anatomy to effectively support both patients and colleagues in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Ashgrove Care Home

has 33 General Nursing beds of which 10 are dedicated to ICT step down beds.

We are seeking a Clinical Lead for our night team. You will have a minimum of 5 years in a Nursing Home environment and have demonstrable skills in the management of residents with long-term older adults living with frailty 65 years old. You will have the knowledge and capability to care plan for patients transferring from hospital, with complex medical needs, as well as demonstrable skills in leading a care team and completing in-house supervisions and training. You will have excellent skills around medication management. You will be dealing with other resident's families/advocates, professionals allied to medicine in addition to Clinical Hub Nurses and out of hours providers. We welcome appointments to visit the home during the application process and discuss the position further with the Registered Manager. We use digital social care records.

The shift times are 7pm to 7am.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate nursing activities to ensure optimal patient care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct assessments of patients' health status and develop individualised care plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements. Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Pay: 45,000.00-47,000.00 per year
