Affinity Medical Services is an independent provider of medical evidence services and rehabilitation programmes. We work in close partnership with solicitors to deliver expert medico-legal services that support personal injury, clinical negligence, and serious injury claims.

The Role


This is a case-handling role where you'll take full ownership of a caseload from start to finish. Acting as the main point of contact for your allocated solicitors and clients, you'll ensure cases progress smoothly, deadlines are met, and service standards are consistently exceeded. You'll play a vital role in building strong relationships, coordinating multiple medical expert reports, and helping to drive the department's growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing incoming calls and emails from clients, solicitors, GPs, consultants, and medical secretaries. Accurately recording and managing referrals in the Proclaim case management system. Handling your own caseload, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent client service. Meeting court deadlines, including Part 35 and joint report requests. Recruiting and instructing medical providers. Supporting solicitors throughout the case journey with updates, advice, and proactive problem-solving. Working to improve turnaround times and contribute to monthly sales targets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with medical experts and external partners.

Essential skills:



Strong client relationship and communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability. Calm, positive, and proactive attitude under pressure. PC literate with MS Office experience.

Desirable skills:



At least 1 year of experience in a clinical negligence or serious injury medico-legal role. Proclaim case management experience. Existing relationships with instructing parties that could add value to the business.
