This role is vital in supporting the completion of our multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental (autism and ADHD) assessments.

We are known for delivering high-quality assessments and fulfilling NHS contracts. About the Role: We are looking for a Clinic Support Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of our clinic operations and supporting both our clients and clinicians.



Regular travel to educational settings for the purpose of observation and occasional travel to other Evolve sites may be required. Main Duties: As a Clinic Support Assistant, you will be play a key role in the completion of our MDT neurodevelopmental assessments. Your duties will include administering elements of the assessment, such as Qb testing, completing interviews with schools to collect detailed information and observations of children in their school settings. You will write detailed reports and records following these assessments and will present assessment information verbally within multidisciplinary meetings.



You will also assist with maintaining clinic organisation, and providing general administrative support. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, strong team-working skills, effective report writing and a proactive approach to client care. This may be a role that would appeal to candidates seeking a career in the caring professions (e.g. Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy) as it will give you invaluable experience of working alongside a range of disciplines and an understanding of different roles.

Responsibilities:

Support clinic operations, including facilitating and administering parts of neurodevelopmental assessments (Qb administration, calls to schools, school observations and summarising school questionnaires). Assist clinicians with equipment needs and setting up clinics. Record and manage information accurately and efficiently. Liaison with other professionals to gather assessment information Provide general administrative and operational support to the clinical team.

Qualifications:

GCSE English and Maths grade 4-9 A university degree or equivalent academic qualification Experience: Previous experience working in health, social care, or education preferred. Experience supporting children or adults with learning difficulties, autism, or in a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) environment preferred. Skills and Attributes: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.



A compassionate and professional approach to working with clients and families. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
