Commercial Cloud Data Analytics Associate Consultant
ZS's Technology group focuses on scalable strategies, assets and accelerators that deliver to our clients enterprise-wide transformation via cutting-edge technology. We leverage digital and technology solutions to optimize business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. Our services include, but are not limited to, Digital and Technology advisory, Product and Platform development and Data, Analytics and AI implementation.

Position: Associate Consultant / Data & Analytics (Client-Facing)
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Relocation Available
Overview
We are seeking highly motivated professionals to join our Data & Analytics team supporting a major Switzerland-based client in the life sciences industry. Candidates will initially join a flagship ZS engagement and, over time, will have opportunities to contribute to multiple global programs with potential advancement toward the partner track.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong data engineering, commercial analytics, or clinical data experience who are passionate about building scalable data solutions and working directly with global stakeholders.
Key Programs You Will Support:
1. Global Commercial Data & Analytics
Support the development and ongoing operations of an enterprise-scale commercial AWS data lake.
Lead platform data engineering and data curation initiatives across 170+ countries.
Enable analytics, reporting, and insights for global affiliates and regional commercial teams.
2. AI-Driven Clinical Content Generation
Contribute to AI solutions for authoring clinical documents and generating submission-ready clinical data content.
Support a program recognized for innovation (won in a hackathon).
Collaborate with clinical stakeholders; a clinical AC (similar to Anshul in London) will be involved in this stream.
Responsibilities
Partner with global client teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data and analytics solutions.
Design, build, and optimize AWS-based data pipelines and data products.
Support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases across Commercial and Clinical functions.
Participate in client-facing discussions, workshops, and solution presentations.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across geographies.
Travel to client locations approximately 2 days per week.
Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms (preferably AWS), analytics, or clinical data workflows.
• Strong consulting, communication, and client engagement skills.
• Background in life sciences or healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to be based in Frankfurt; relocation support is available.
• Interest in long-term professional growth within ZS, with potential progression toward leadership or the partner track

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in delivering small/medium-scale technology solutions, ideally within a Life Sciences environment.
• Ability to lead project teams, drive end-to-end activities, meet milestones, and provide mentorship/guidance for the team growth
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, data warehousing and reporting
• Experience with big data concepts, data management, data analytics and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in algorithms and data structures

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
