Your Role as Club Manager:
You'll be at the heart of our club's success, taking the lead on daily operations, staff management, and ensuring our wraparound care is a thriving, safe, and engaging place for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Inspire
- Oversee a team of deputy managers, playworkers, and volunteers, ensuring they feel motivated and supported.
Create Outstanding Play Experiences
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging activities that spark creativity, confidence, and fun.
Ensure a Safe & Happy Environment
- Maintain high safeguarding, health, and safety standards, and handle first aid when needed.
Champion Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily administration, compliance, and paperwork to ensure smooth club operations.
Be a Friendly Face for Families
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring they feel part of the Rocketeers community.
Work Closely with Schools & Stakeholders
- Foster positive relationships with schools, childcare agencies, and regulatory bodies.

- Stay up to date with training, safeguarding best practices, and industry developments.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves:
? Experience working with children in a childcare, education, or play-based setting.
? Strong leadership and team .
? A proactive, solution-focused mindset with great organizational skills.
? Excellent communication skills - ability to engage with children, parents, and staff alike.
? Passion for play and child development, with an understanding of different needs and abilities.
? Commitment to upholding high safeguarding and inclusion standards.
Bonus Qualities (We'd Love to See!):
Level 3 Childcare or Playwork qualification (or equivalent).
Experience managing a budget and club administration.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Hours:
7 a.m. - 9 a.m. & 2:30 - 6:15 Monday to Friday Term Time Only
