We are a full-service hotel operational and asset management company, offering our clients a hybrid option for their hospitality real estate investment, with Head Office based in the heart of Perth, Scotland.


We are seeking a strategic

Cluster Financial Controller

to lead the financial performance and compliance of multiple hotel properties within the group. Our Head Office is in Perth, Scotland, where ideally the successful candidate will be based. We will also consider hybrid working patterns. The position is full time, 40 hours per week.

Role Purpose




The Cluster Financial Controller will oversee and manage the financial performance and reporting of a portfolio of hotels within the cluster. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving profitability across all properties. Working closely with General Managers and the corporate finance team, the Cluster Financial Controller will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support the company's overall growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the financial operations of all hotels within the cluster, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and performance reports for each property and the cluster as a whole. Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends to identify risks and opportunities. Ensure strong internal controls are in place across all properties and lead financial audits when required. Support operational teams in cost management, productivity improvement, and revenue optimization initiatives. Liaise with the corporate finance team to align reporting, policy, and strategic objectives across the business. Provide financial guidance and mentoring to hotel-level finance teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

About you:



A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Proven experience in hotel or hospitality finance, ideally in a multi-property or cluster environment. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with confidence in presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Proactive, commercially minded, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on management. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
